Diane E. Miller, LICSW

Diane E. Miller, LICSW is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC (LC50078838). She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland in 2007. Diane is a Guest Faculty Member of the Washington School of Psychiatry’s Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) program in Washington, DC. She is a graduate of the three year postgraduate training programs in ISTDP at both the Washington School of Psychiatry and the ISTDP Institute, also in Washington, DC. Diane is currently in advanced training at the ISTDP Institute.
Diane has completed both beginner and intermediate Low Energy Neurofeedback Systems (LENS) training with Ochs Labs in Sebastapol, California, respectively in 2018 and 2019.
Other relevant training includes the completion of the two year Clinical Program on Psychotherapy Practice certificate from the Washington School of Psychiatry, one year of supervision with Jon Frederickson from December of 2015 until February of 2017, and attendance at the Washington School of Psychiatry Summer School with Jon Frederickson and Susan Warsaw in June of 2012.
Prior to obtaining her Master of Social Work, Diane worked for seven years in nonprofit multi-service agencies, that served the very low income, homeless, dually-diagnosed, prenatal, and immigrant populations. She has experience working abroad in Central America and speaks Spanish.
